Outback Steakhouse - Clayton: Classic Aussie Steaks & Family Dining in Clayton, NC

Very nice inside. Brand new place. We came on a Sunday late afternoon and it was pretty busy but not too loud that we couldn’t hear each other speaking The waitress was super nice and very accommodating. Daughter spilled her drink everywhere and they handled it like champs. Food was very good and came out quickly. E had too kids meals and 2 adults dinners. All tasted great. We’ll definitely be coming here regularly.

A great stop today for a lunch for the grandchildren. Plus family were there. It is a beautiful restaurant and an excellent place for family dining. The lunch was a sirloin steak, broccoli, roll and juice. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is a business I will visit again.

Highly anticipated 1st visit to the new Outback in Clayton. We are outback fans so couldn't wait. We made pre arranged reservation on the app. We arrived is was very busy which was expected and it was fatherday weekend. There was some issue with the text notification waiting in our table and the wait was a little longer even though we signed up ahead. Which was not a big deal, it is expected. It was nice to see the owner present helping guest as they arrived. Service wad a little slow but again they were very busy. We started as always with a blooming Onion. Was very good and was nit disappointing. We all had steaks and potato and daughter got shrimp with hers. Side salds were good too. Everything was great. The only flaw was I ordered medium steak and it was cooked rare. However it was still good. They offered to get me a new steak. No need because it was still very good. Over all very good and hope it continues.

Update: We went in for an early dinner. Love the Aussie, Aussie, Aussie. I got the wedge salad upgrade. It's almost a meal in itself. The lettuce is fresh and with those juicy grape tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, and tender bacon. The blue cheese dressing is great and the balsamic glaze is the perfect finish. I got the flame grilled seasoned shrimp with a rremoulade sauce and tender garlic toast. It was accompanied by a baked potato. My cheesecake had to go home with me. The raspberry sauce was to die for. My friend got the loaded potato soup which was hot and well seasoned. Also ordered was a bloomin burger with a loaded potato. The burger was cooked as ordered with meat juicy and tender. The onion straws were crispy and he enjoyed adding the bloomin sauce onto the burger. His cheesecake also went home. Service was excellent with Katielynn and check backs and refills were prompt. Previous: I went here with family. I ordered a wedge salad which was a meal into itself. The lettuce was crisp. The bacon, tomatoes, and blue cheese crumbles add perfect touches. The dessing and balsamic glaze are the perfect finishing touches. I got the steak with loaded potato. Truly an amazing meal .

We were THRILLED to find that the food quality and service were as excellent as ever. We had the ribeye, Alice springs chicken, ribs, loaded mashed potatoes, asparagus, sweet potato, broccoli and wedge salad. Everything was perfect and Kirsten and support staff took excellent care of us.

I’ve been to this outback 3 times each time a to-go order. It’s always been fantastic. When there was a hiccup the manager was quick to help fix it. If you do have children I do suggest asking for non seasoned fries as they are delicious to me as an adult but spicy for the toddler. Bloomin onion is always delicious. My husband always gets a rare steak and it can be difficult to cook as rare can be overdone quickly but the chef last night did a fantastic job! The curbside staff was great. It was a great dinner choice. Highly recommend!

Food was great today! Cameron the server was so attentive and excellent! The managers Brandon and Sarah stopped to say hi and check on us. It was overall a great experience!
